DYS Creative Arts Award
The Creative Arts Award requires young people to engage in some forms of creative workshops or activities. There is a list of suggestions on the Application Form, but these aren't meant to be exclusive. Ideally, the young person will learn or improve skills for a minimum of eight hours and then lead a session in one of those activities (eg jewellery making, a costume for a carnival entry or graffiti art) for at least two hours. The total, as with all these local awards, should be at least ten hours.
